Faxing Services

Faxing services can be delivered via several options:

  • Standard Fax Machine - requires an analog line to send and receive faxes.
  • Electronic fax, or UChicago Fax - Electronic faxing via Fax Server centrally processes inbound and outbound faxes, stores fax images, and delivers faxes eletronically through email to individual or group email accounts and other client applications.
  • Multi-Functional Device - usually includes copier, printing, scanning and fax as an option. Faxing using a MFD will require an analog line or IP faxing using electronic faxing as the means to send and receive.
