In an effort to enhance communication and reduce uncertainty during service outages, IT Services recently launched a new outage communication tool called StatusPage.

StatusPage enables us to post and send outage updates anytime — keeping the campus community informed of what services are affected, as well as progress made toward restoration. Features include:

This tax season, be especially wary of email attachments purporting to come from your tax preparer or similar organizations. Such emails pretend to come from legitimate places such as the IRS, HR Block, UPS, and USPO. Opening such attachments may activate malware which might give hackers complete control of your machine or help them steal confidential data which could lead to identity theft and financial loss. Most often, you will notice nothing unusual on your machine once the malware is installed, and your antivirus software most likely will not detect it.
